Reading, Writing, Giving, and Listening to Directions

In Reading and Language Arts we've focused on reading, writing, giving, and listening to directions.  Our unit on directions concluded with writing and reading directions to a partner on how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Our partner followed the directions we gave to them.  We had such a great time with this activity.  We learned that we need to be exact and complete when writing and giving directions.  Also, we learned that we need to be active listeners when receiving directions.  The best part of the activity was eating our finished product!
