Fall Party!

This past Friday we had our Fall Party.  We had several great mothers volunteer during the party to make it a great success!  First, we played games.  The first game was a relay game where we had to roll a pumpkin down a line, roll the pumpkin around a basket, and then roll the pumpkin back to the starting line to hand the pumpkin off to the next person in line.

Then we had a sack race!

After the sack race we made a craft.  Our craft was making a pumpkin from a terra-cotta pot.  We drew lines on the pot, inserted a pipe cleaner stem, and glued felt leaves on the top. After making our pumpkin craft we did several leaf rubbings.  It was neat to see all the details on a variety of leaves!

Participating in the games and crafts made us very hungry. We finished our celebration with yummy snacks.  On top of our party, we had another reason to celebrate.  It was Keaton's birthday!
