Grandparent's Day at WT!

On Wednesday, April 4th, WT celebrated Grandparent’s Day.  Over 150 grandparents attended this special event! The day started off with a concert lead by Mrs. Ropp.  Each grade chose two songs to sing.  The grandparents were invited to sing along with familiar songs.  The remainder of the day was spent in classrooms engaged in a variety of activities with the grandparents. In third grade we interviewed our grandparents, worked in a packet full of Easter activities, went to the computer lab and went on a Laura Ingalls Wilder scavenger hunt, and showed our grandparents how to play our favorite game: Sparkle! We also enjoy a delicious lunch of baked chicken, fresh fruit, vegetables, and a miniature chocolate pie!  We had a great Grandparent's day!
