Mid-Prairie FFA Visit

On April 12, 2012, the Mid-Prairie High School FFA group came to Washington Township’s third grade class. First, we read the book, Wow! That Cow. This book was about all the different kinds of cows and what they produce. Next, we planted peas in a cup to take home and watch them grow up. Then we made towers out of 20 marshmallows and 40 toothpicks to learn about teamwork. After that we colored a hamburger coloring sheet to see where food comes from. Finally, we played agriculture word tag while eating a chocolaty delicious dirt layer snack (dirt and worms). We enjoyed having the Mid-Prairie FFA group come to our school!
